1! Post with your character(s) and share some random facts about them. Headcanon, canon, whatever.

More than he can count. Most parents freak out over one unexpected child. Shirou's a 36 year old bachelor who suddenly found himself with to squalling infants he can't communicate with at all. I kinda peg Shirou as someone who picks up on things fast, though. Like Mephisto visits the first day and both the babies are crying, there's a pile of diapers in the sink, formula's all over the floor, there's a blankie draped over the ceiling fan. Shirou's looking like he hasn't slept in weeks and is holding Rin at arm's length while Yukio's lying in a corner completely unattended. Shirou has no shirt on because he got baby spit-up on it and couldn't be arsed to find another.

Two weeks later Mephisto drops in again and the house is in order again, every surface has been wiped down and disinfected, Shirou has the kids on a feeding schedule so that he's nursing Yukio sitting in a chair while Rin's conked out in a crib that Shirou's rocking with his foot. LIKE A BOSS.

I think Shirou's favorite color is blue. Just to be contrary, and because there's so much negative stigma attached to that color that people forget all the good things blue can bring. He likens it to how a tsunami can bring so much death and destruction, but that's the same sea you fish from, the same sea you swim in and can look so beautiful under a clear blue sky. It's a sort of learned optimism he had to find in himself after taking in the boys.

Old man Shirou wears briefs because they make him feel like everything is in order. Young man Shirou wears absolutely nothing, because you never know when you might need to seduce someone by slowly slipping down your pants okay.
